[Our character Jacqueline is fictional but you should read more about Brooke ‘Dirty Britches’ Leavitt of the Kansas City Roller Warriors. The former librarian lost her arm from the elbow down aged three. She co-created the league and skated competitively for years. True Badass!
Brooke embodies so much about the sport and spirit of derby and is such a positive role model for sportswomen everywhere.]
